About Dr. Josephine Korlei Mensah
Dr. Mensah received her bachelor of arts and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She completed a general practice residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan after dental school. She then obtained her specialty training in pediatric dentistry from St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident.
Education is one of her passions. Dr. Mensah is currently on faculty at St. Barnabas Hospital Health System in the Bronx, where she enjoys educating and inspiring future pediatric dentists. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Mensah spent her childhood in the Hudson Valley, and she has been working in private practice in New York for over a decade. What she loves most about her work as a pediatric dentist is sharing her knowledge of dental health with children and parents in Tarrytown and beyond. Getting her patients excited about coming back to the dentist is so exciting! In a calm and comforting manner, she strives to make each child's visit to the dentist a fun and pleasant one.
When she's not fighting cavities, she enjoys traveling, tennis, learning Spanish, taking in the
nearby river views, and, most of all, being a full-time mother of two young, energetic children.
